I finally got a job, so it is back to the grind for me! I am filling a long term substitute position as a Family and Consumer Science teacher in Elverson, PA. It is about 45 minutes from where Travis and I live.
The job is definitely less demanding than my last teaching position, but the environment is completely different. The students are not as respectful, but they are getting better. The teachers do not appear to be close to one another, and the school just does not seem unified or full of spirit/excitement.
I am sure I will get used to it.
